RGB and Fan control are via a little Hub that comes with the case, with inputs from the motherboard as well as front button/switches to override this. This case is, in theory, a nice Pairing with the Z270E gaming as it has USB-C 3.1 Front connector (a seemingly unusualy cable/connector), as well as an input from the Motherboard's RGB headers to control the integrated front LED lighting.
I'm using a case by be Quiet, the Dark Base 700.
The rebuild has largely been successful but there's one outstanding problem I can't seem to figure out. I recently upgraded my motherboard from an old B150 board to the Asus Strix Z270E Gaming, so that I could overclock my 7700K.
